idgaf im not gonna get anyone pregnant soon anyway

idgaf im not gonna get anyone pregnant soon anyway
what about me

why not until it's far gone enough to resemble a human though? like it seems unreasonable for a woman to change her mind a month or two before the due date or something
It's reasonable considering how big of a commitment raising a human is. it's incredibly expensive and time consuming and if someone wants to back out at the last moment, they should be able to
fetuses aren't conscious until long after they're born so deciding when it's too late shouldn't really a problem. when you give birth to it, you have a child. before that, you have a fetus.

I beg to differ, dad.

but if you've been putting up with having this "parasite" for so long just to change your mind near the end, what were you building up to? that's just wasted time, effort and energy on something that you decided you would rather not have anymore. when you've come that far, you could at least go through with it and give it up for adoption. why waste everything?

it's a waste of time and effort, yeah, but if they really want to do it then it's up to them

In my personal opinion, I don't approve of abortion.  However, there are some preventative measures one can take:

Most people have unwanted pregnancies due to lack of hygiene.  Taking the pill as well as cleaning out the sperm before it enters the uterus should ensure, in most cases, that you do not become pregnant.

Of course, there's always the option to avoid love altogether until you're married.  If you have enough self control and have better things to do, there really is no reason why you shouldn't do that.

First of all I hate people against abortion and stem cells for religious reasons. There is so far no existence or proof of god, your religion is getting in the way of progress.

The dead aborted babies are just rotting anyways, useless. They would be more useful for stem cell research which these pro-life friends insist we do not experiment on.

There is 7 billion people on this loving planet, we don't need more people. Stem cell research would benefit the people already alive, which should be our main focus. Stem cell research is making lives better for people already alive. Why should we keep bringing in life into this world with how stuffty it is now?

We should perfect stem cell research so we can develop cures for all these diseases, then start bringing more life into this world by little.

yes of course people should be allowed to cancel bringing an unwanted person to life, especially if the mother was raped and would pretty much further her own trauma if she was forced to raise a child that was put onto her by a rapist

a child costs tens of thousands of dollars, and huge chunks out of someone's life.
not to mention the father is not always there, either. people do stupid things together, and if an unwanted pregnancy comes out of that, no way that should just keep happening.

do you really want to put people through this? a mother her life ruined, and a child born into a broken home? just because abortion is "killing people"?

im kind of surprised and disgusted at the amount of non-approval of abortion. like holy stuff dude, loving yucky.
thank god this isnt how real life is and its just a forum. abortion is already legal 😌😌😌

A baby isn't considered alive until birth anyways, it's not consciously aware.

Even a premi baby is not consciously aware. It has to live in a bubble or it will die.

So abort all you want, it isn't murder. You can't murder something that's not alive.

That's what birth control is for.

I do not approve of abortion, however, if it is something that threatens the mother's life, the baby's life, or both, the mother should choose.

A fetus has a brainwave and heartbeat at 6 weeks.  Name one thing that is not alive that has both of these.

Anyone that has been mentally tortured enough that they're now just a shell of their former selves

Our main focus should be to use stem cells to benefit the people whom are already alive.

Say you live during the plague. Would you attempt to raise a child through the plague or would you rather wait until there is a cure? Why would you want to give birth to a child who may suffer with the plague?

A braindead vegetable has a brainwave and heartbeat.

Not alive.

How so?  You're far from a QED.
