i didn't go to prom but i did go to an afterparty, it was pretty wild, a few of the people got so wasted they vomited and passed out and in general made things kinda stuffty for the rest of us. parties aren't usually my thing

you made the right choice though, don't get involved with that stuff. Parties are fine, smoking a bit of weed is fine as long as you don't get caught, getting drunk as forget and vomiting and doing crazy stuff isn't as fine

this is terrible advice but weed actually isn't that bad. it actually makes parties a lot more fun. i'd try it at least once to see what it's like

Last night I drove up to a convenience store / wine seller to get a couple bottles of wine.  The high quality stuff is a little expensive, so I only get 1 or 2 bottles every 3 months and spread it out.  One of them tastes better with food, so I had a glass of the one that tasted good on it's own.  I read to the next chapter of one of my books in the garden and decided to go on Boss Battles  (but I'm not derranged to the point of going around the neighbourhood sawing my genitals off).

At the same time, people are having orgies in a nondescript "party".  It's an eerie feeling to be blissfully unaware.

It's not that tricky. Someone old enough buys it for them, or even their parents, or they buy it from somewhere who doesn't care much about age limits, or use a fake ID.
Minors can get alcohol quite easily.
