Author Topic: Starting my voiceover career this summer! [EDIT: New recordings!]  (Read 3308 times)

About half the stuff on soundcloud was done in a pro studio with an RE20, the other half with a Neumann u87i. Right now, in my home studio, I'm recording with an Audio-Technica AT4040 into an M-audio fast track ultra.

My good friend does a lot of commercials and small roles in animated works as a side job and uses one of these. The sound quality is fantastic.

I'm sure he understood just fine!

It's treated me well so far! Only been using it a week or two.

I like it because it's warm and balanced—I like a warm low-end response to bring out the richness in the voice, but nice mids and highs too to make it crisp. I haven't even been able to turn it up to really get its full sound yet because I don't have enough isolation in my studio—this thing picks up EVERY sound. So I've had to boost it in post, which is fine, but I can't wait to get a decent level during recording.

DUDE those commercials though. Especially the Harley one. Excellent job.

I honestly and truely hate you. I hate you as a person and I hate you as a being. You are the most ridiculous and outrageously handicapped person I've met. And I don't want you to reproduce... With anyone other than me. You see, I love you. I love you a LOT. I love you to the point where I watch you. I watch you post, I watch you browse, I watch you eat, and I watch you sleep. My most memorable and favorite moments was when you'd masturbate. I would too. Although I've kept secretive about this I think it's about time I let it out. I love you.

I need voice talent for One and a half tonys.

My newscast voice is pretty much my own voice with the cadence of a news report. I'll do this either tonight or tomorrow, though. Cheers!
