To be honest, there's so much information thrown up to this topic, I dont know what to believe.
a little lag on a server
Lag caused unintentionally is fine. DDos, sending a stuff ton of packets to a server, destroying the connectivity to everyone's clients, is illegal in the US. This should not be a thing to joke about.
Based on this post here from Teneksi-

If I was put into a situation like that, I would have left immediately, because giving attention to impersonators is asking for trouble.
My verdict, /somesupport, I still am debating on whether or not the original post is authentic or not. But, by viewing the experience from the forumers who have posted here, I would give a verdict that Jiggy could be capable of pulling that off, but I just find it stupid to try and blackmail a hoster out of $20 to protect them from ddos from that culprit. Hell, if Jiggy (assuming it's jiggy) got $20, he could have used his other alts to bully more money out of the hoster. But even if he did do that, I just dont understand why you would do that to someone who (as far as I've seen) has done nothing to the user(s).
