the point of gay pride is promoting awareness and garner support for people who can't pass as straight and be fully accepted in society as humans

no lgbt pride isn't about being prideful of being gay its about being prideful in being a normal human being
straight pride was created by insecure people who think that gay pride is intended to celebrate abnormalities

the term gay pride exists solely because of oppression
oppression of lgbt individuals is the same concept as racism

'black pride' isn't celebrating being black and also isn't considered abnormal to be black its supposed to help bring black people to a standing where they are actually treated equally
