Step 1. Download V16 from old.block.land

Step 2. Download the following add-ons and put them in your v16 addon folder.

After all that is done, click "Join game." and click "master server" then change it to blmaster.hostoi.com:80

Hosting a v8 server will have issues such as people not being able to connect and port forwarding.

The Client_PreventUpdate add-on should be installed before you run Blockland w/an internet connection for the first time.  Or else the game may update without your permission. :P

Choose either Script_CustomMS or Script_CustomMS_DG.  You don't need both.
CustomMS is set up to automatically use blmaster.hostoi.com.  I suggest using this one.
CustomMS_DG is set up to use any blockland master server. Don't use this one unless you know what you're doing.This one  defaults to the default master server.  Link removed.

Well I'm assuming I can get around it with a direct IP connect.

Plus I'm like 90% sure I still remember how to port forward back when I used to have to do it for v8.

Do not post servers onto the defualt master server only use the custom one.

The other one is a DG version, which we only want the original custom master server.

Welp, I've given up on trying to play this with you guys this evening. I've been able to install Ubuntu on my chromebook and run Blockland through wine, but despite my best efforts after having the game on for merely a minute, my chromebook bricks to a black screen and I'm forced to hard reboot.

I'm assuming it's hardware related, as I am still using a chromebook.

When I get home and I'm back at my desktop, I'll try to get on these old servers, I'm always down for a little nostalgic junk.
