Yes, I know, this sounds sketchy as hell, but this is an actual thing.
(assuming you live in the U.S., this is probably different for other countries.)
Just go to the official website of the treasury of your state (Or you can go to
https://www.unclaimed.org/ and click on your state), and then find the section where you can search the database for unclaimed property. After that, you can search your name, and see if there is anything that comes up.
This may not be helpful to all of you, as I can imagine that most people here never had a job and pretty much have 0 chance for having anything here, but for the few adults, this may be useful.
Of course, you may not have anything, or you only have like $5 to claim, but this is still interesting.
