tbh most of the people I know that self identify as biloveual haven't had any sort of relationship or loveual contact with their own gender. I'm fairly certain that a large number of people that say they are bi are actually not. It's just one of those things that screams "Look how edgy I am!" to me.

Like there's a difference between say, "I'm a dude and I think some men are attractive" and "I'm a dude and want to forget some men too"

I guess it's like flowers

I can see a flower and think it's beautiful and appealing, but I wouldn't forget it.

yeah I agree man there's so many 12-16 year old boys who say they're biloveual because they convince themselves that they are when in reality it's a fitting in by standing out thing

that's why whenever I see someone around that age say that they are biloveual, I assume that it's just a phase

agreed. the first thing I ever ask people that say that they're biloveual is what their preference is and if they've been with both guys and girls. Most either haven't been with both or have a preference, which is a dead giveaway. I'm sure there are some people that are legit bi, but for the most part I just think it's an edgy way people get attention because it's difficult to call the bluff.

If a dude says he's bi you're not gonna ask him to prove it. It's just annoying af though, because most people that say they're bi likely arent.
