Question: When the forget is the GTX 1070 releasing???

anyways, I've been sitting here every night waking up in the wee hours just to see if I can buy the normal 1070 instead of the Founders, and every night nothing's there.

Is there a release date for the normal 1070? I looked around but couldn't find a single announcement that separated the two, and all I've seen is "it's available June 10th". I have like $1000 to blow on my new PC and I don't want to have to wait like another 2 weeks to get one if I miss the release.

The "normal" 1070 is the founders edition, which is just nicer wording for reference cards.
Each company will release their own version on their own time. You'll just have to wait.

but what about the $380 one? There's the Founders and then Nvidia's normal version which both are identical except for the cooling or something. I wanted to get the $380 one because it had that low poly shroud like the 1080 and whatnot, but is the only version with that shroud the founders edition all of a sudden?

It hasn't finished development with any board partners.

You'll have to wait. The "normal" one was only for use exclusively by board partners.

stuff then wait a minute, are companies developing both their own low poly shroud version and one with their own shroud or was the low poly shroud only exclusive to the Founders?

But yes it is complete and preorders are already up on the usual sites. The stock just empties quick so you gotta watch em carefully.

yeah I'm aware the founders edition is stuff but I specifically want the Low Poly shroud version, I'm just curious as to wether or not those will be a even be available soon or if the low poly shroud is only for the founders

you gotta be a pc shopper pro and subscribe to a few different product tracking websites. then pop on the page within seconds of an alert to pay for an item thats been in your shopping cart refreshing for days.
and if you have to type in your credit card info you are already to late.

nah Founder's Edition was in stock for like 4-6 hours, but that could change for the aftermarket coolers
