Summer reading

Author Topic: Summer reading  (Read 1242 times)

Are there any books I should read over the summer? I already have A Prayer for Owen Meany queued up as part of required reading for AP lit, and I also have the Lord of the Rings and Foundation trilogies available.

Also, discuss books if you want.

"divided we fall"
great read

read books by these authors:
fyodor dostoevsky
albert camus (start with the stranger)
leo tolstoy

tbh do your ap lit requirements first. other good reads are like don quixote, the divine comedy, stoner, etc.

Definitely read the LOTR trilogy. I'm currently reading the Maze Runner series (I'm on book 4 out of 5), and it's pretty good.

Ten Thousand Chestnut Trees, I finished it pretty recently and it's a darn good read.
Also try some Carlos Castenada books, they're always highly interesting.

For some reason my high school always made us do summer reading but never graded it.

kim stanley robinson mars trilogy
Dune prequels trilogy

I don't read books over the summer, if I would it would probably the metro books. I mostly just spend summer going outside on my bike, spending time with my family and relaxing.
