Author Topic: Have you noticed how the media is keeping us separated?  (Read 1664 times)

Everything is about race, religion, love, loveual orientation, body weight, age, everything.

They're telling women how they're being oppressed by men.
They're telling african americans how they are hated and disrespected by caucasians.
They're telling everyone how terrible christians and muslims are.

This is all making me so sick because it's just causing everyone to be separate from each other. They want constant disagreement and hatred to each other.

Sure, sometimes a man is yelling at a women. He's yelling at her because she's a dumbforget, not because of her gender.
Sure, a white cop shoots a black man. Statistically that's how it is due to the population. Only 14.3% of America is black. White cops shoot white guys all the time, but when it happens to black people, there is an uproar because of the media coverage only showing what they can deem "tribal."
Sure, christians can be ignorant and discriminate, but it's the minority that does it, but the media is the one who covers it. Not the churches taking in homeless people & helping them get back on their feet, or going to jails to help them with their problems.

The media sucks.

That's what they're paid for.

Uh duh? forces of evil n stuff man

i very rarely watch the news on tv, in fact it's rarely ever on TV at home. we usually don't have a reason to tune in. tell you what though, when there's some controversy going on you better believe that someone's watching the news at home. the simple explanation is that controversy sells.

The media is biased bullstuff

Was watching the news this morning with coverage of the Orlando shooting. On the Today show the hostess accepted a call from Hillary Clinton and was very polite with her. Later on she received a similar call from Annoying Orange and you could see her entire demeanor change instantly.

It can be difficult, because the media isn't required to uphold the first amendment, but you need to find news stories and see them for just the facts, ignore any opinion and sensationalist rhetoric, and try to form your own opinions on matters.

They want constant disagreement and hatred to each other.
the more disagreements and conflicts they have, the more stories they have, and they make more money
it's a business where the more you demonize people the more money you make

>watching mainstream media and expecting anything less than garbage

Politics aside, this is the worst summary of the debate over police brutality that I have ever seen. You completely missed the point.
