Author Topic: Overwatch research Taken Down By Blizzard  (Read 4323 times)

I'm wondering if people draw research of specific things because they like research or because they want to be the first person to do that stupid rule where there is research of everything on the internet.

the first part seems correct enough

well if there's already a lot of it probably the first one

Or they just do it to new things.

Or they just do it to new things.

probably both?
why do you care so much?

Inb4 this turns into another LT hijack

i've already seen discussions about this and people freaking out for the past few weeks & explanations

what blizzard is doing is coming down onto research makers for using ingame assets, not the research itself. hell, the research has practically been the best at marketing for this game, would be pretty stupid to actually get rid

so dont worry people you can still jack off to sfm animations

with the amount there already is and how much more is probably coming, i don't see how they're going to be able to actually stop production/distribution of online research, hell there's probably even more art going through than animations.

this makes more sense, thank you

on the other hand, if it were regular research I'd be like "what"

selling rare overwatch research 5 bucks a pic

there is no more reason to live anymore

iirc the complaints are coming in on research using ripped character models, rather than just drawn stuff. blizzard owns the character models and by putting it up on researchhub they are gaining ad revenue from it and infringing on blizzard's copyright.

there is no more reason to live anymore
i just explained how they're not going for the research itself but rather the ingame assets that were used in it

if your only reason to live is overwatch research then dont worry you're still getting it

FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION GOD DAMNIT

how will i get my succulent roadhog animations now
