Why the hell do people find Swatting funny?

It is a waste of resources, and money.  Not to mention, if the SWAT team raids your home they can kill your dog if the dog is "threatening" them. 
I was part of a website called Raidforums and this stuff happened everyday.  Back when people used the website for twitch raids (now it is used as doxing, and swatting) it was funny, but the site has gone too far.  I remember going onto the site and seeing someone saying "Hey X do you wanna go swat someone?" Like what the forget are they thinking?  I think the people that SWAT are 12-14 year olds who can't tell the difference between right and wrong.

from what i understand, a mic drop is when someone throws their mic on the floor, so they thing nothing else needs to be said
swatting is the equivalent of that by saying "eheeuehuehu lets see them forget with me nOW", implying they cant swing back at them hard enough to top that
