Mmm.
Firstly, let me stress -
this is early detection. I've been loving blessed to be throwing up three weeks in a row, because we've caught these problems right as they've started to develop and not when they're at their worst. Because of that, I still have time and energy to actually fix these things and make a fully recovery...hopefully.
Here's the summary of what the doc said:
- Liver Failure: Due to a combination of genetics, poor dieting, alcohol-abuse and possibly my ONE toke of weed a long time back, the vomitting is being caused by my liver starting to die off. There's no solutions to this yet; I just need to cut back on the substances, change my diet and see a specialist pending the results of one final blood test on monday.
- Tumour: I am developing a tumour in my neck. This is apparently due to recent problems in the local water supply and something to do with a high calcium intake. My doctor said this isn't as bad; it's still only forming and not cancerous, and can easily be solved by taking iodine supplements which will cancel out the calcium and kill off the tumour.
So yeah, the outlook is bad, but at least we caught these things early and I can now start to work at them. Let this be a warning to you young whippersnappers, eat your greens and don't smoke your greens unless you want to loving die
