Author Topic: Something with Peekarica.  (Read 781 times)

So apparently I wanted to relive my memories on Peekarica.. I downloaded it, later I found the installer was a win32.downloader.gen.. but the game didn't have a virus. only the installer. Is this a false positive? It's version 11. latest version.. Help?

Please, I need help with this!

First, change your topic title. It's ambiguous and breaks a forum rule

Antares still uses the forum, PM him here

What rule does it break?
rule 1 in general discussion, it applies in every section.

If you download an obscure installer to download a game then it's your fault
Look for it in your Programs in the Control Panel, and use Malwarebytes to clean house.

It has an official website though. It's been around since 2009...

anyone? :panda:
just install malwarebytes and get rid of the problems
jesus forget

I did. But I need to know if this was just a false positive or if my antivirus had mistakenly detected it as a virus.

What anti-virus do you have?
