I just want to know the answers before I get on my death bed so I don't have to worry about it there.

unless some technology comes along that allows you to transfer your consciousness and personality into some other form that effectively allows 'you' to exist after your old body has given up on you then you're going to cease to exist one day

this has nothing to do with religion, people just like to associate it with this because that's the closest you get I guess to your own religion, death.

but to assume it's just a void is incredibly ignorant, you can believe whatever you want to but saying that it is certainly this one thing is pretty dumb. Considering we don't know what occurs we have to leave it open to interpretation instead of limiting it to one experience. Although on that subject we already know it's not just a "void" because of the thousands and thousands of years people have been doing drugs like DMT, Mushrooms, etc. and documenting what they experienced and saw.

Google is looking into it actually.

Even so if near death experience and out of body experiences exist then that means consciousness can exist out of the body but only if the brain is still alive. So I picture consciousness like a bluetooth device and the brain is the bluetooth adapter plugged into the body.

That is if out of body experiences are actually legit.

well to be correct DMT is essentially death as the exact same chemical, DMT, is released in our body when we die.

so if anything DMT has everything to do with death, it is death, literally.
