Author Topic: Recommend a phone  (Read 1275 times)

My phone is getting quite old. The battery dies faster than it should, the speakers barely work, The screen isnt so bright anymore and touchscreen is starting to do odd things.
Ive had my Galaxy S4 mini for a solid 3 years now and its time for another one. I like to have a phone thats as fast (or faster) but a bigger screen size but also affordable.
Recommend stuff

EDIT: I dont really play games (except when the wifi is down but theyre mostly simple 2D games) on it and only use it to be attainable and to listen music on it. I do use it to browse the web and social media so a big screen would certainly be usefull.

bring flip phones back
my grandma's side of the family all use flip phones lol. tracphone recently had to force my grandma and her boyfriend to get new flip phones because theirs were so old that they weren't going to be supported on the new network anymore lol

nexus 6p
Affordable!

moto g?
"Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen"?
I can get this at a discount with my current mobile plan at my mobile provider wich is nice
The specs seem quite decent for its price tho. Screen is .7 inches bigger than my current one so thats great.

Moto Gs are known for being affordable and having decent specs. You should definitely consider it.
Also I've had my Moto X 1st gen since it came out and it still works great

Iphone Series: Recommended model (Iphone 6/s)
Great user IO, really simple, gets the job done, plenty of apps. Go to phone you cant go wrong with

Android Series: Recommended model (Samsung Galaxy S7)
Solid, runs fast, high customization, and plenty of apps to use. Recommended for the more advance teched people

Windows Phone: Recommended Model (Lumia 950XL)
IO is the same across all devices, Camera is of the best, passing even normal cameras, "No device left behind" meaning newer versions wont bog down your older phone, average amount of apps and survivability of the phone is great. Recommended for those who take plenty of pictures

The phones I used to own (In order)
iPhone 4
Lumia 920
Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge

This is of past experiences and knowledge, You might have noticed I wrote a little less for the Android, thats because I owned the iPhone and Windows phone for about 3 years and just 2 months ago I got the Android so thats all the strong suites I know.

he said affordable and i know that the iphone 6 and galaxy s7 are most definitely not affordable unless you get a contract lol
