Today there's a strawberry moon along with a summer solstice, which was last seen in June 1967. Go outside, forumers.

I don't entirely understand why the Solstice is considered the start of Summer, considering it literally marks the point at which the days get shorter and head towards Winter.

I think it's (traditionally) the end of planting crops on a farm. If you plant past this date, it's likely that the frost will kill your crops before they're ready for harvest.

I saw a little glimpse of it, of course I couldn't get a nice quality picture on my phone but it's nice and red, that's for sure.

When the annual 'Strawberry Moon' appears in the June sky, some sky gazers expect to witness a rosy lunar event marked by the appearance of a pink-colored moon in the sky. This is not the case, however, as the Strawberry Moon derives its name from the strawberry harvest season and not from any effect that influences the moon's visible hues.

But the moon was supposed to be made of cheese...
wine cheeses can appear reddish

Huh but where I'm at it's reddish?

Might be because of where I am in the world/my location, right?
