Author Topic: Headset/External Mic Suggestions?  (Read 531 times)

Looking for a headset/external mic that is under 100 dollars and has really good mic quality.

Any suggestions? If this gives you any help I'm going to use it for voice acting.

Corsair HS40 was pretty good for me, only lasted about 6 months until it died. Logitech G430 seems pretty decent, also seems to only last for 6 months.

or you can convert to using Headphones and an external mic which will give you way better quality but of course for a price, that's what I'm currently looking into.

you can get some steelseries siberia v2s on newegg for like 50 bucks

if you want pretty nice quality, audio technica at2020s are nice external mics, or a blue snowball for a bit cheaper

samson meteor mic has about the same mic quality as a blue yeti and is usually <$70 https://www.amazon.com/Samson-Meteor-Studio-Microphone-Chrome/dp/B004MF39YS

also, i have a logitech g430 and it's superb other than the build quality. some people can't keep them because they toss them around and stuff, but as long as you take care of it, you'll be fine. i've had it for over a year.

I looked into it and I've decided I'm going to try to get the Blue Snowball mic. Thanks guys. Been saving up for awhile.
