I don't think it's about LGBT though, I think it's the otherkin/fake loveuality aspect that got people mad. Being with friends that are gay and transgender helped me understand how it works for them, but you just can't put sense into something that doesn't make sense. If I told you a hippo drank 4 beers a day because of their loveuality, it would probably get you questioning it too.
I don't think that's what the video was aiming at, though. I think it was just trying to say: "people identify as stuff, don't be richards just because of it," but stuff like the comments section blew it way out of proportion.
While I feel that some loveualities and genders are completely unnecessary (the genders I consider "real" or "scientifically proven" are Male, Female, MTF, FTM and others such as hermaphrodite), I still feel that tolerance is the best practice in all aspects. I feel that, with tolerance, several of these "fake genders" will disappear.
I would think real LGBT people would actually be extremely upset with this kind of stuff because it's almost like other people are taking the piss out of their rights movement.
I think everyone in the LGBT movement generally has some angst, one way or another. As a gay man who hangs out with a ton of lesbians, most LGBT people I know get pretty heated over opinions from within the movement.
And when you're a boy/girl and decide to become a girl/boy then you're a girl/boy, no inbetweens.
And if you decide to become a girl/boy please look the part so you don't get thrown out of any public toilets
I think this is an unfair assumption, it leads to confusion when you completely skip the gender confusion in the MTF/FTM process.
I thought being polyloveual mean that you'd love to forget polygons.
