Congratulations Britain!

Now I just wonder why does it seem like *every* referendum or election with two choices always ends up basically being 50/50? Why is it never 62/38 or 29/71?

they decided to leave? ok then i hope they will enjoy being alone without eu, and regret it. they deserved it.
A lot of us did not but the readers of right-wing media like the Daily Mail (famed for lying) and supporters of parties who throughout the elections have spewed lies and fear-mongered in order to receive votes did.
Congratulations Britain!
Dren mate, this is basically the opposite of a loving congratulations. More like, "Damn, bad luck Britain, you have my condolences."

And there we go, England will now burn and America will have to become the smartest nation on the planet.

Not about to take political advice from a 13 year old mate.

Anyway, all Britain needs to do now is vote in UKIP. How glorious would that be?

It's how humans think. Politics is naturally polarizing, and parties will never fear embracing that. So as a sentiment catches on, the opposite sentiment tends to catch on just as fast. Then, when the two sides inevitable bicker and fling stuff and each other, people who leaned towards one side will either end up in the middle or the edges, allowing it to settle towards 50/50. It's in our nature to give something and its opposite equal weight. It's why climate change is still disputed by many uneducated people despite the massive scientific consensus - they just think of two sides as two equal positions in their head, even though there is no actual doubt about whether climate change is real or not.

It would be glorious in the same sense as "our glorious leader, Kim-Jong Un" or "the glorious Third Reich." It's just far-right demagoguery - certainly not fascism, but not that far off.

As glorious as a freshly brewed cup of tea.

And by the time it's the next G.E I'll be old enough to vote.

I was typing a post about how stupid I think this whole situation is, but it got convoluted. so I'm just gonna keep it simple
I think this whole situation is really stupid. it seems completely misguided and unprepared for. how long has leaving the EU even been something the UK has considered as a real possibility? judging by that video linked on the first page, it was a campaign promise... from 2015........

I didn't plot the data, this is from widely used currency exchange websites. The purpose of a graph is to give visual representation of data.
That's the whole point- it poorly represents the data. I know that you didn't graph it, but that doesn't make it any less misleading.

If I wanted to see a flat line to help me understand the ebbs and flows of the value of a currency, I'd draw it in MS Paint and call it a day.
Clearly you're in it for the sensationalism then.

To your point, having a graph set at zero can also be equally deceptive, showing far less change than it could actually be. I don't understand why you're arguing this representation of data when literally everyone else around the world, including businesses, don't have much a problem with it. Its representing data the way I can understand in relation to values of past.

This is bait.

love to see a source of that man, gg

If you include EU legislation.

But you shouldn't include EU legislation, unless you're going to start throwing UN resolutions in there too as "UK law."

welp
guess we'll just have to see if everything goes down the stuffter
