I'd say the salt on the handicapian is heavier.

why do people think that the whole country is going to be broken now? If it was a terrible choice that would ruin the UK, I doubt more than half of the votes would be for it.

also happy independence day everyone

This is so true.

Obviously the majority know what's best.

Welcome to democracy.

if i wake up to find out we've voted to leave i'll stuff my pants.
good night.

well then.

This is so true.

Obviously the majority know what's best.

Welcome to democracy.
ok I have no stance on the EU but this is terrible logic

I'm assuming you're kidding, but if you're not: the majority is loving handicapped sometimes. In the United States before Civil War, the majority thought slavery was okay. The majority voted in the NSDAP - Riddler came to power via democracy. I'm not sure if this is the case anymore, but at some point the majority didn't believe in evolution nor climate change despite the massive scientific evidence.

I'll stand up for democracy whenever because it's the least bad system, but the majority is not always right.

-don't resort to using insults-

Got a better idea?

I'd say this is the fairest way of doing it.

If it was a terrible choice ... I doubt more than half of the votes would be for it.
A majority managed to pass the 18th amendment to the U.S. constitution. It was repealed by the 21st amendment 13 years later.

"Many forms of Government have been tried and will be tried in this world of sin and woe. No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed, it has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all those other forms that have been tried from time to time." - Winston Churchill

Can't barage the Farage.

My Facebook has been plastered with status' such as Britain is doomed! blaiming the older generation (being the majority of leave) when it was likely they voted for remain in the 1970's referendum.

OP updated
