Except Scotland is part of the United Kingdom, and they have to declare their own independence from that before they could choose their own governments to belong to. Plad's brown townogy still makes sense, because Texas is a part of the greater government of the United States. This referendum is a vote for the whole of the UK, not just "English people".

I see people arguing that intense nationalism is a good thing. Why, they had intense nationalism in the 1800s. They called it Imperialism. What did it lead to? It lead to this:
