never heard of this website, drive is all i need.
it's a simple file-hosting website run by our very own perfect pecon

Well this was unexpected. I've already contacted the registrar, hopefully it's resolved in a decent amount of time. Everyone's files are still totally fine, the site just isn't accessible.

In the meantime, you can access the site from here: http://45.63.54.190/

Edit: Also WTF why did it take 30 hours for me to find out about this??? Don't any of you know how to PM.

Still no reply from the register. They're probably out for the weekend, nice timing that I find out about this at 5pm EST on Friday.

Anyways, I'm guessing that it was suspended for something along the lines of people uploading malware or something stupid like that. I've been implementing virus scanning on files detected as applications by mime magic. Hopefully this will let common things like images still get expressed through since they don't have particular need to be scanned. I'm looking for some advice from anyone who might think that mime magic could be tricked to let things through, so still in the development stage. I think this should help prevent suspensions and blocks in the future.

Still no reply from the register today. I might try a different method of contact.

Anyways, I've continued improving the malware detection. Almost done with that. I've also made the report and delete functions a little more user friendly by having them accept the full URL instead of requiring them to put in the file code. On top of that, I've rewritten the spam detection system because it was totally hideous.

Remember, we're still available from http://45.63.54.190/ even though the domain is suspended.
