Author Topic: Hey blogland, I'm afraid of getting MRSA  (Read 1286 times)

I wanted to get my thoughts out for a topic since this is more about me than the disease. I figured I could go do the research after.

Anyway, if it's anti-biotic resistant that does it mean it's immune to something like hand-sanitizer as well?
Not necesarily. It means it's resistant to common drugs. But being resistant to commin drugs doesn't mean it's not weak to weaker drugs or more powerful drugs.

Argies love taking pills just because. I'm not one of them so a bacteria which I had a few years ago was resistant to amoxidal, a very strong anti-biotic but I got rid of it with loving pennicilin.

Nature has its secrets.
Ask your doctor to test for positive on the bacteria and have him do an antibiogram. (I guess that's how it's spellef in english)
