monitor resolution on my laptop is 3840x2160, but I limit it to 1920x1080 to stop everything from looking weird and to stop windows from trying to scale everything in strange ways
that and it matches my external monitor then, when limited

On my main rig I have one 1920x1080 and two 1600x900's. I can boost the main monitor to 4k with Nvidia's dynamic super resolution tho which is cool for recording sometimes. On my secondary rig I've got a 1440x900 and a 1280x1024.

So out of 16:10, 16:9 and 4:3, I definitely prefer my 16:9's.
