Stop using MediaFire as download links please!!

Guys, this guy isn't lying. I had to kill Chrome with the task manager because a site was giving me popups. Now whenever I download from mediafire I have to close the tab ASAP when I hit download so it can't load some stupid thing that's saying my computer has a virus and won't let me leave the page. I have uBlock, and it doesn't stop the redirect. It redirects to TrackXYZ or Track222 or something like that sometimes, which is the one I had to force-quit.

i havent had a pop up in like a decade now and i use mediafire for most of my file transferring needs
