Shoutout to all my homies driving manuals, that's where it's at.

OT: My 2002 4WD manual Subaru Impreza Outback Sport, Lynn. Terrible pic but it's the only one I've got of it (the only that doesn't have one of my friends on the roof).

love bugeye subarus, when did you get it?
Ikr? Those headlights are the best.

I got it around September of last year, IIRC.

Well I guess there's finally another user out there with a car that I desire more than Trinick's

Also that 0-60 time is crap lol I've hit 60 way faster than that.

for some reason subaru is really conservative with their 0-60 times and overall performance figures for some reason, my brother's 2015 sti does 60 in like 4.9 (in wyoming, which is like ~7,000 feet above sea level) but the offical time is 5.2-5.3

Huh. There's another site with a more accurate 7.3 time but idk how close that one is either... haven't had a chance to try it out on a flat straightaway from standstill yet. Of course, they probably never do those times starting at anything above an idle so I can understand why they might not be the fastest possible time.

The 1st gen TTs are not much lookers. But the 2nd and 3rd gens? Those look beautiful. Are you gonna put any mods? Also, have you taken it to some curvy roads? 😎

i've noticed a lot of normal cars with performance editions or straight out performance cars have started to post lower offical outputs and speeds. My car's offical 0-60 is 4.0 but mine will do it in 3.8 (it might be my new rims, the stock rims on my car are heavy as stuff) and the power is offically 360 but it's actually 375. I think it might be so it's actual reasonable to insure since performance cars are already more expensive, but i can't really think of any reasons why companies would give their performance cars lower figures since it wouldn't lower rates by that much

i'm getting a carbon fiber front chin (the big front chin) since mine is basically forgeted at the very edges because forget wyoming it's made for gay ass lifted diesels

i've already scheduled an appointment for a ECU re-tune by APR in july or so, and one day i'm gunna rip the back seats out and put a rear roll cage since im 6 foot 2 and all of my friends are way too big for the back seats so they're worthless for me anyways

also wyoming is like nothing but paved back roads (atleast where i live) so i'm constantly on them. it's like one of the only upsides of living in a hick town (other than cheapo and fast internet)

Are you going to track it or auto-x it every once in a while? I really wish where I lived had auto-x events

sadly there's no tracks anywhere near me except in the next state over, so i don't really have plans for it yet (which is why i'm waiting on that rear cage) the closest thing i have to track people in my county is just a group of friends who hang out at a mall and have some fancy vinyl stickers that one of their dads makes for them that they stick on their stock 1990's civics

it would be okay and even cool except that if you race them and you beat them (which is easy) some of them will literally follow you back to your house which is annoying as forget since they'll never actually get out of their cars
