I'm tired of my mom randomly coming into my room, screaming at me, and opening my windows regardless of whatever I say to let in the 90 degree weather

my current door lock is broken besides its one of those house locks which can be opened by a pole in which my mother knows that

I know if I install in door lock my dad will get piss but he won't remove it. my mom being bipolar basically makes my dads life a living hell and adding the lock would make her real pissed for a long time. but I really want the security

what should I do, and also it's those door chain locks like the ones you see in your apartments
