Author Topic: should I add a door lock to my room  (Read 1636 times)

I certainly like how you assume that everything in my family is normal and without any context bluntly blame it on me
Well with a lack of context what are you expecting?

We don't know you Damp. We'll assume off what we know and it'll be a shame if it doesn't line up because we barely have context.

let me ask you a question

do you live in their house

ziptie your families hands together then burn the house down

yeah so you didn't understand what i was saying at all so i'll reiterate in simpler terms.

your dad seems like he could use a break and your mom isn't in a good mental state. getting a lock would clearly cause them additional stress that neither of them need; it's just selfish and you're a prick if you decide to do it knowing the repercussions.

I guess you guys are right about me not providing to much context so:

my dad originally bought the lock for my sisters door, but no one ever used it since. I've asked my dad many times if I could put it on and he has always answered "we'd need to consider how long would she react". idk I've decided not to do it for now I just got really pissed earlier

to be fair, what would locking your door solve?
would it just delay her yelling at you, or would she just yell through the door?

you're probably going to want to leave your room to get to the kitchen eventually, and then you'll be an easy target for her

that latter is probably what would happen in a lot of cases
