In Disney's official announcement, John C. Reilly appeared and noted, "Ralph leaves the arcade and wrecks the Internet"

I can't wait to see how cringy this is.

Yeah, the first movie was great, but I fear they're trying a bit too hard with this one.

Wait so they will remove the arcade setting to add the internet in the sequel? That doesn't make any sense, it's like having a desert setting for Finding Dory.

What meme is he going to find on the internet first?

actually it makes sense to me. A lot of games from the old consoles moved to the Internet and can be found there. In particular a lot of NES and SNES games have had his happen.

where is Blockworld.us

no

Since this is about being on the internet, this is going to seem interesting, though, I have a few questions.

First, how is he going to be able to leave the arcade world? This doesn't really seem possible because in the original movie, ralph and all the other video game characters could use a train in order to get to other games that were in the arcade only, not going anywhere else. I'm sure this will be solved in the movie, but I want to see some guesses.
Second, in the promo art, we see that penelope is also with ralph, but in the end of the movie, penelope is once again a playable character in her game and seems to like it. What would convince her to leave candy rush in order to accompany ralph on his internet journey? This can also be said for the other main characters as well, with maybe felix as an exception, since he and ralph are from the same game.
Third, what places are going to be discovered and what kind of characters are the heroes going to meet? Surely there should be some sort of characters ranging from online games to online shows and even going as far as memes
Lastly, Once they get into the internet, how will anyone be able to get to any places on the internet? When you use a computer, you open a tab and start travelling pages and opening up new tabs, so how will it work? Will it be a system similar to that of wreck-it-ralphs? Because if that is the case. there are going to be alot more stations open up, and I mean a lot more.

Lot's of questions here folks.

I for one am fine with this internet theme because more online gaming references n stuff, and curious as to how they'll portray data transfer/sharing from multiple machines.
