i also think this is the case and most religions seem to be doing this well. if this is the real purpose of religion, then religion is great because it teaches people good morals. if it weren't for peaceful religions like christianity, the world would most likely be a lot more chaotic and terrible.

also if god does exist i probably wouldn't give a forget about it because i haven't been giving a forget about it for years and nothing bad has come from it

I'm not sure why he wouldn't but I don't really know enough to see what he does and does not when it comes to prayers. I find that he can sometimes let something bad happen if it will better you.

I prayed a lot for my skin disease (eczema) to go away but it never did and it got really bad; going through that made me develop more optimism as a defense so I believe he has let that go through to better me off later on in life. After having developed that optimism, I then found medicine that was actually effective against the eczema unlike everything my family got me during the period of me hurting from it.
