Author Topic: how to get 20+ people on your server and be popular  (Read 4823 times)

host a bad city rp!
this advice has been followed by HUNDREDS of blockland players!
how great is that?

Not only that, you can host things such as a School Shooting RP, Gay Club Shooting, 9/11 Simulator, etc.

As much as I agree that city RPG's are boring and overrated, this thread isn't good at all.

this topic is ironic as forget because blades helped servo do the same thing like a week or two ago

yeah, weren't you admin on servo2's city rpg lmao

oh look the stereotype that admins instantly make servers bad

i'm saying that you participated in the creation a bad city rpg, not that you made the city rpg bad

oh look the stereotype that admins instantly make servers bad
Stereotype?
A bad administrator on the server is the same concept as a bad waiter at a restaurant. If you're at a restaurant and the waiter you get tries to throw you out because you said that you didn't like the food, or because you didn't eat food right, or because you didn't eat something on the menu when they want you to, that reflects the company. Just like how an admin who'll ban you because you said you didn't like something about the server, or because you didn't do a thing right, or because you didn't do what they asked (within certain bounds, the last one applies mainly to small personal tasks that you shouldn't have to do and aren't what the server is about. If an admin asks you to move something, or stuff like that, that isn't what I'm talking about.) reflects the server.

whoa there didn't expect an essay
my point is that people often treat admins like they are their personal servants and they have to get whatever they want, giving little respect

admins are here to HELP you most of the time not make the server a bad experience

you can't blame all of them just because one or a few made the rest look bad

chill out.

also, you essentially just applied the broad generalization about admins once again.

in servo's city rpg case i think the badness of the server reflects more about the server's quality than the admins did

did you make this thread because you're jealous since people don't like your own servers

the generalization is usually correct most of the time

how did this get into admin discussion

TIL that people can't handle a post expressing one's opinions that affect them in no way at all
it's not too cool to stuff yourself over something that simple

how hard is it to share my opinion without getting attacked from all directions?

comes to show the quality of the forums..

I don't host servers
