The only reason I'm suggesting myself (besides being, you know, myself) is that while I'm in no doubt sure Greek2Me or Swollow or SirDooble or whoever else has been suggested would make great mods, they don't have the amount of freetime or interest in this community as I do. Plus I've been here longer than all of them.

Look, I know Badspot isn't going to do squat cause of this poll, I just want him to know that in the off chance he's looking for help, not only am I qualified to do the job (at least I think so, he might not think so) but I have the time and the experience to be an effective moderator of this community.

I spend all of my freetime perusing the forums, I'm already familiar with SMF software and admin my own forum already, I'm a long time user and player of the game so I have a true connection to the forums, and I'm unbiased and haven't broken a rule (expect once I got banned for a week back in 08 but it was justified so I served my time silently).

I'm not demanding to be made an admin, merely announcing my candidacy should Badspot ever be in the market for more help in moderating these forums. I volunteer as tribute.
