A lockdown at the U.S. Capitol building and visitor center has been lifted Friday morning after the report of a person with something that looked like a firearm.
The building was placed on lockdown about 9 a.m. after someone got inside with something that looked like a firearm on a security screen, a highly placed source told NBC.
