Last hint for the third riddle. Here's a basic explanation of what that riddle is asking.

What item with a long wooden shaft base that, without it's children there with you, renders it useless?

A broom? Without it's bristles it's just a wooden stick.

It's not an instrument of war or hunting. (is it?)

It can be used to carry weapons for war or supplies for hunting, and saw a massive increase in need following the advent of agriculture. It's based around a large, wooden shaft. If you go into battle against nearly anything with only a cart, you will likely be defeated.

A secret of that song, though, is a cry for help from her land.
