Sudden Lag

When playing Blockland, everything is fine, game is running smoothly, absolutely no lag and then WHAM, just sudden 1 frame per 10 second lag...  I can still do things but extremely slow... takes 10 minutes just to save before I go and end task Blockland.

I think it is related to vehicles getting bugged up somehow... any idea what may be causing this?
I have no add-ons installed besides the ones that came with Blockland and I am hosting my own server.

I've had this happen with the Dolphin Helicopter add-on. I launched it... some distance away, apparently it hit something and physics exploded. If I looked at it, I get 1/10 frames a second or something, but I looked away, smooth as sailing. I had to eventually hammer the spawn to get rid of it. I hope this helps.
