Daswiruch brought up hobbies in the night discussion thread but it was locked. What are your hobbies bros? I've been listening to at least one new album per day for the past two years and I record music in my free time.

my hobby is collecting gemstones and other whatnot rocks, they all look quite nice.

Roleplay and video games are my hobbies. It can be pretty fun to do science fiction roleplay.

my hobbies are video games and sleeping. neither of them are great but they aren't terrible. i do art sometimes. i used to RP but i'm kinda sick of that.

what the forget do you guys do?

i collect sneakers, flip balisongs, throw yoyos, and draw
also i don't know if playing a metric stuff-ton of rhythm games counts as a hobby but i do that too

I like learning (things I actually want to learn), Playing RPGs and Bullet-Hell/Danmaku Games, Riding my bike, Drawing, recording and editing yeti videos and listening to music ( mostly Touhou vocal songs)

if you wave around a christmas light it'll leave a trail of images but no motion blur

so yeah

wrong, sort of

if the christmas lights are DC (which most christmas lights are) and well rectified, they won't flicker

however a filament light or light connected to AC mains would flicker faster than the eye could see but long exposure/fast shutter speeds pick it up
