I know that, it just that my school has been so loving stupid this year with some of the stuff I've seen, next year I am going to try my hardest.

not to accuse you, but school isnt a joke anymore and students need to focus, or it'll eventually hit them like a train. im on my last year, i need to do my damnest in class or i wont get the scores that'll let me do the university course i want to.
to be fair you really only need to get the minimum for an application
the good colleges/universities that you want to get into tend to look past your grades, more towards your focus and experience

That might be the case if it's not competitive to get into. If it is competitive however, you're going up against people who did give a stuff about grades and you'll lose.

Yeah, no. Unless you're going for an art course where a portfolio is everything, most colleges heavily rely on grades as a marker of your study and skill.
