just tested it w/ pen and tablet too and quickly traced something that would've probably taken like five times longer otherwisei'm satisfiedstill gotta get used to it a lil but i can already tell it feels betteroh and that was just with the default smooth stroke setting which was like 50 or somethin, pretty low compared to max so ey i can probably be even smoother
single window mode is a lot nicer if you wanna try that. it's under the Window dropdown menu I believe.

No there aren't. There are various extensions and derivatives of ASCII, but there is only one ASCII.
