just gonna rant here
so i understand the whole deal with how girls are built differently than guys, and have a lower center of mass, along with smaller biceps, but it's really bullstuff the way they differentiate gym scores for the mandatory tests they have us do. the most bullstuff one is for the flexibility one, conisdering that gals are naturally more flexible since they have a lower center of mass in their hips. yet the state says that the passing score for girls is 5 inches from touching your toes, and the boys is 3 inches. keep in mind the average in the school is 3 inches away for boys and 2 inches PAST your toes for girls.
another thing is that while making girls do less for pushups and situps makes completely logical sense, the state feels that the perfect scoring of pushups is 65 for boys and 40 for girls. complete forgetin bullstuff range between them. for situps you have to do as many as you can in a minute, and the perfect for boys is 75 (so a little less than one per second) and for girls it's 45 (one per 1.25 seconds). finally the running test. passing for boys is 20 and passing for girls is 10. literally half. perfect for boys is 106, perfect for girls is a oh-so difficult SIXTY. like seriously what the stuff
tldr loveist state-mandatory gym system is bullstuffting me from getting a good grade
