I'd just buy an Alienware or something.  Building computers is for loving pilgrims.  "Why buy a house when you can just build one?? It's cheaper!!!".  Stupid as forget imo.
sounds like someone couldn't figure out how to plug in some computer parts

also, building your own house is actually a good idea. it is cheaper, and you'll have a house that is exactly what you wanted

get that handicapped ass logic out of here, building a computer isn't that hard nor that stupid especially when OP is asking for something specific

Pretty sure people who sell prebuilts, for example Dell aka Alienware, are profiting off what they sell.  Do you have any idea how the economy works?
I R O N Y
Also do you not see how you jumped from building a computer to building a loving house?
Just want to quickly know something, wouldn't this build need a cpu cooler or something?

Cpu's come with coolers except for intel xeons iirc
If they dont pcpartpicker will notify you.

I'm sure if building a house only took a few hours most would go ahead with it.
I mean it's a stupid comparison anyway, but y'know.

1: alienware is disgustingly overpriced for the stuff they put in their computers. labour, unlike a house, is not a valid excuse for this humongous fee. it takes at most a couple of hours to plug some wires in and screw some screws in. it's nothing like a house, wherein it's a multi-month job involving an entire group of people, often involving heavy machinery and the need for expertise (e.g. certified engineers and architects).

2: he was being sarcastic. because if prebuilts were just as cheap as building on your own, then they would be racking in losses.

3: https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/15i7dh/exactly_how_overpriced_is_alienwareanswer_on_the/

Alienware Aurora cost: $4,024.00

Aurora hardware value: ~$2569.98

this amounts to:

~$1,400 labour fee.

the main reason why people don't want to build a pc themselves is because they are scared of damaging the expensive components.

if people want to go for a prebuilt, loving let them espio.

this is a fair argument, but dell's alienware is a scam. there are better prebuilts for less money out there.

The better choice is to bite the bullet and invest in building a PC, prebuilt ones don't offer the amount of agency you get when you build your own PC, and most of the time you get better bang for your buck.

-snip-

I'd swap out the Radeon maybe. I just had to replace my R9 after only two years because it failed on me.

Idk about Digital Storm or any other PC prebuilts though, but I wouldn't get alienware unless you wanna spend an extra 600 on led lights and a case

Since we are on the topic of Alienware

I wish Alienware could sell their cases or maybe led parts because they are cool tbh

Buy the cases and leds on ebay
