No nukes exist that can explode without a collision

the collision happens within the device using an internal explosive

No nukes exist that can explode without a collision
that's not how nuclear weapons work at all

that's not how most explosives work, actually

No nukes exist that can explode without a collision
where did you get this idea?

I meant a collision with the ground
what happened to manually detonating it lol
manually detonating a nuke sounds fun

I meant a collision with the ground
still wrog

then show me how I'm wrong

show me a nuke that doesn't have a trigger that activates when it collides with the ground

then show me how I'm wrong

little boy didn't collide with the ground, nukes just aren't as effective that way

It exploded 500 meters over the ground in the center of Hiroshima, thanks to an internal timer mechanism.

That way, it was able to do more damage than just excavating a 3 mile radius around the town square.

can you show me a nuke that does require it to hit the ground? because that's not how nuclear reactions work

nuclear weapons are (like many other conventional explosives) airburst to maximize damage against the affected area
