Un-Installed Add-ons and Outdated Add-ons caused by BL Glass and Character Map

So.. I've been having this serious problem with some of my add-ons and I assume it was caused by Blockland Glass and Character Map.


So I was wanting to set up my name with some fancy letters with Copy+Paste-ing Character Map characters. I went to my name and looked through the Arial line of Characters looking for a cool looking Z for the beginning of my name on the Character Map program. Then I spotted one. I copied it and pasted it to my Blockland. It came out as a ? in the name thing. I tried to press backspace because I assumed that it wasn't going to work, but I accidentally bumped into the enter key with my right pinky finger. Blockland Glass opened up at the same time somehow, I assume for some add-on updates and it froze for about 7-15 seconds.

It logged me out after the short time and I had to re-enter my code to get back into my account. Oddly, it was still Zaxstar. So I went ahead and put in a fancy name.

I did it successfully, then I went to my dedicated server after setting it up. I got on and some of the add-ons appeared outdated. and gone.
I only noticed after a minute of trying to make the map. I was confused and frustrated at first, mostly shocked, but I went ahead and check the other add-ons (exept weapons and tools) to see what else was the matter.

I noticed in the black console (the one that comes up with the game) my name appeared as "Zstr". I assumed my Character Mapped characters weren't loading properly in the console.

I got off the server afterwards and checked my Blockland Glass. Some of my add-ons were gone, outdated and some in red boxes instead of green without the checked box. (with the box still there, of course.)

I checked the default updater and it wasn't checked. I wondered why it wasn't, but I went ahead and checked it back in.

I assume I found the solution, because It's slowly bringing add-ons back, but slowly. sloooow....

Glass doesn't deliver any updates independently, just through Support_Updater which wouldn't even have the capability to 'downgrade' any add-ons unless that's what the add-on's repository indicated it should do.

An update check may have been triggered when you entered a new name and Blockland reauthed, however if the character showed up funny, it may be something the engine is too outdated to handle. That may have corrupted your prefs causing things to load back weird, but shouldn't have impacted your enabled add-ons list. There's also no reason your add-ons would be "slowly returning", or gone in the first place.

Well, they were gone. and I assumed the Support_Updater would bring them back from the old version. I haven't checked since that day for the add-ons. The oddest part was that all the add-ons were there, but were out-dated / gone in game.
