1 time was in my family's van for going 46 in a 30 on my own street, couldn't even try to argue that one obviously
Next time was in my Buick for 93 in a 65, but I used an arsenal of legit sounding excuses and knocked it down to a 75 in a 65
Next time was 1 week later also in my Buick for 81 in a 65 (same road, just at night), knocked it down to a warning
Next time was 2 weeks later also in my Buick for 76 in a 60 (this is the ticket in question), and this cop wouldn't listen to one excuse I gave him. I've since seen him in person twice since that encounter. Rang up his merchandise at Walgreens once.
5th time was in my Crown Vic for driving around without license plates. He just told me to put them on and he wouldn't give me a ticket.

i would recommend not doing these things if you don't want trouble with the police in the future. if you're a repeat offender (in such short periods of time not to mention) the police obviously wont be taking your side or letting you off the hook easily.

shiiiit XR-7's last post is nearing

it sounds like you deserve pretty much any kind of punishment they decide to give you
you're purposefully breaking the rules set in place to ensure the safety of others
stuff people like you are part of the reason why society has problems

no offence but yeah you do deserve whatever punishment you get

There's certain times and places that you should speed and and do donuts and stuff like that.

You always seem to pick the worst moments lol. Street smarts are not strong in this one.

Well I mean of all the times that I've been pulled over, the second ticket (93mph) was really the only one where I had no good reason to be going that fast at all, and the cop was still merciful and let me off somewhat. The first one happened when I was still a new driver and was running late for school with my brother and there just so happened to be a police car speed trapping on my street. No one ever drives the speed limit on my street, not even my parents, so I just went with the flow and was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

In the 81mph traffic stop, I actually was driving within bounds of the speed limit but then a car kept coming right up on my bumper shining its lights directly into my back window, so I just kept adding a little speed to see if I could increase some distance so I could actually see. When he kept coming closer, I slowed down to 10 under the speed limit hoping he would go around me, and he didn't. Turns out that car was a cop testing me.

And then the ticket that the county is butthurt over right now happened not long after I'd started working at Walgreens and I was trying not to be late when a cop ambushed me after driving out from behind some trees in a church lot. The other cars around me were going around the exact same speed, but I just so happened to be in the front when he trapped us so I got the heat for it.

My current plan of action is to act as lowkey as possible (have fun with that driving this car lol) because that manager at work told me this morning that I apparently have a warrant out on me (she has cop friends and they all apparently know my car and say they hear me all the time), but that they can't technically stop me with that warrant until they catch me doing something bad.

So uh....I guess I shouldn't do anything bad.

It has now been nearly 4 months since I was issued my last ticket, so I'm getting better at it.

Honestly you should really look into buying a radar detector. My friend has an awesome SRT4 that can hit some pretty ridiculous speeds and says his radar detector has saved his ass multiple times.

How far out do the detectors pick those up? Do they pick up police cars or just their radar waves when in use?

probably should've done that from the start
and a cop being around should not affect your driving

Like 2+ miles away. The more advanced ones can detect all 3 types of waves used by the radars. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

I would own a detector but Virginia hasn't updated their driving laws since 1873.
Seriously, people have spent time in jail for reckless driving here its gay af

you literally ran from the police, a felony, because you were doing donuts on the school parking lot. he probably would just yell at you--what, you think he's gonna take you guys in? worse case scenario they'll give you a reckless driving ticket. worst case scenario for fleeing the cops is far worse. they don't have to have their lights on to be pulling you over, you know. if a cop is clearly driving towards you and you gtfo you've committed a felony.

i hope you never revealed your license plate, cause they've got surprisingly good dashcams on cop cars in most states.
