Literally any food can become unsafe to eat. Eating vegan foods does not make you unable to eat bad food, it just makes you unable to eat meats that can be bad for you. It's a silly point to make.

And of course people are going to be irritated with you, your opening statement was obnoxious as stuff. When you go after people's ways of life, many of which involve eating meat, they aren't gonna be nice to you back. You don't want to eat meat? Fine. Don't give other people stuff if they want to.

how is it morally wrong/'less moral' to eat meat? don't give me that 'you wouldn't eat a dog' stuff either because a dog is a domesticated animal and useful to the man for things such as company, hunting, protection, etc. like cats are for company as well, and pretty much every other domesticated animal/pet out there (in the eyes of US culture that is)

so can you tell us what's bad about eating animals that have been used for meals since the start of civilization?
