Author Topic: I am looking for good 4k monitors  (Read 1176 times)

My mum bought herself a new pc and she's letting me use it, and it says that with an hdmi the intel hd graphics 4600 can support up to 4k, so I am looking for montiros around 18-22 inches that support up to 4k.

And no, I'm not spending a fortune on them, £350 or less.

supporting 4k doesnt necessarily mean your games'll run smoothly at 4k

yes but I am looking for monitors that support UP to 4k, I don't necessarily want to use 4k on every game

To be honest, you're better off getting a 1080p monitor like this one:

However, if you still want 4K, you can probably get this for 266.62 pounds:

Well the monitor I already have is 1080p, but the 4k monitor doesn't seem to be available

4k will be 4x more taxing on your gpu

don't get 4k unless your computer is from nasa.

dad had a 4k@30hz panel with a core 2 quad and a hd 5770 lol

Don't listen to these guys. You don't need no supercomputer to run 4k. I have a 4k laptop that runs several games on that resolution without a problem.

if you want 4k then just buy a UHD tv

what framerate? what settings? stretched to that resolution or originally 2160p? what graphics card is in your laptop?
also what games, exactly?

lmao u don't but do you really think his apu 4600 graphics could run any program at a 4k resulotion

game debate rates the 4600's resolution performance for 4k at [1.2/10]

yes because I can fit that on my desk and I really love high input lag.
