Author Topic: Do you read posts in voices based on user avatars?  (Read 1412 times)

To me, for example, Badspot's posts sound like Judge Dredd, but used to sound like Captain Kirk.

Your post sounds like skeletor

nah but i judge connotations based on avatar subconsciously

I can associate what's being said to a person's avatar but I can't put it into a specific voice.

I usually read posts with my own voice

I make up voices for specific users sometimes while reading. They've all been consistent over the years. All subconsciously too. Not based off avatars though.

if i don't know how they actually sound irl, then the avatar and their typing/posting habits both slightly influence the tone at which i read their posts

so yeah but hardly

doesnt apply, a very large shadow being looks over my shoulder and narrates all of my forum escapades aloud

only if i know what their avatar is and i've heard that thing's voice before

boy mine must be good

but no not at all
