Nonnel, i HIGHLY advise you don't go with AMD processors, as cheap as they sound they're always one step behind intel. Going Red/Green is fine, but you get more bang for your buck if you go Blue/Green.

amd is known for their lackluster performance when compared to intel. you're not building a under 500 budget rig, there's no need for a budget processor.

if its what you want, im not stopping you. I'm just saying the former is still a better choice.

These are the specs on my new PC build:
Motherboard: MSI Z170A Gaming M3
CPU: Intel Core i5 6600K
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB 2x8GB RAM
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060 Founders Edition 6GB
Optical Drive: ASUS 24X DVD Burner
SSD: Kingston UV400 240GB
HDD: Western Digital WD Blue 1TB
PSU: EVGA 120-G1-0650-XR 80 PLUS GOLD 650W Fully Modular
Case: NZXT Phantom 410 White
Totals to about $1120.

omg with ur budget of $1100 u should get the one i suggested

the 1070 is better than a 980 ti and the processor isnt amd bargain bin trash

i have something really similar and it runs good. you will be fine.

Are there any objections as to why these two should NOT be wed????
no????????????

i'm paying. i changed the motherboard to an MSI Z170A PRO but other than that it's all the same as what i posted. consolidated it onto just amazon and newegg. should be good. $1110.97

Ok. That is settled. Now for the real topic.

you're gettin a pretty good deal there nonnel, 50 dollars for a 2TB HDD. though seagate have the highest failure rate, it should be fine :)

i've always had good luck with seagate
