Author Topic: You can make one thing in Blockland perfect - what is it (not the engine >:I)  (Read 5140 times)

You can make one feature in bl function flawlessly, what would it be

I would probably make vehicle physics perfect, or maybe make bounding boxes conform to model shapes instead of being one large box

bricklimit, right now it crashes people at around ~350k bricks

make bounding boxes conform to model shapes instead of being one large box
probably this tbh

Exactly what you said. If we could get total-accuracy collision with smooth movement loads of amazing things would be possible, like good vehicle combat, easy elevators, and more.

the code so ppl can make every other thing perfect : -^ )

I'd say having improved water that follows the laws of physics would be nice.

But given

I'd say just do that.

Not having a crash bug that we have an unofficial fix for.

This sounds insanely gimmicky and usually pointless tbh

maps
vehicle physics
there is no question about it

I would fix the thing where small objects or wedge-like shapes have zones bigger than the actual object, so you can't place bricks right next to them.

Make shadows smooth and more compatible with all drivers

everything
everything is every single thing compacted down to one word so techincally it still works B)

make the engine perfect, then everything else is perfect too

The engine, as in porting it onto the newest torque3D version and script in some .dts compatibility (cause the new versions of torque uses .dae)
